Contest:Picture Perfect Pet Contest: Cats vs Dogs
Date: October 18 – January 30, 2010
Prizes: First prize $300; Second Prize $200
Number of Prizes: Three
How to Enter:
Participants may submit photos of their cat or dog to YourBigSky.com Monday, October 18 through Tuesday, November 30, midnight. Participants may submit up to 4 photos of all of their pets but may not submit more than one pose per pet.
Any participant who submits more than one pose per pet will be disqualified from participation.
Viewers will be asked to vote in Round 1 for their favorite pet between Wednesday, December 1 at 9:00 AM and Sunday, December, 19 at 11:59 pm. The 10 cat photos and 10 dog photos with the most votes will advance to Round 2.
Round 2 voting for the10 cat winners and the 10 dog winners will begin on Monday, December 20 at 9:00 AM and continue through to Sunday, January 9 at 11:59 pm. The 5 dog photos and the 5 cat photos with the most votes will advance to Round 3.
Round 3 voting for the 5 cat winners and the 5 dog winners will begin on Monday, January 10 at 9:00 AM and continue through Sunday, January 16 at 11:59 pm. The cat photo and the dog photo with the most votes will advance to the Final Round.
Final Round Voting for the 1 cat photo and 1 dog photo from Round 3 will begin on Monday, January 17 at 9:00 AM and continue through Sunday, January 30 at 11:59 pm. The pet photo with the most votes in the Final Round wins 1st prize, the other photo wins 2nd prize.
3rd prize will be awarded to the cat or dog photo from Round 3 with the highest number of votes after selection of the cat and dog photos participating in the Final Round.
Winners will be posted on YourBigSky.com and will be notified via email. If a winner is unreachable after four (4) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If Second Street Media cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
All results posted on YourBigSky.com are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Rules for Participation:
Participants must be at least 13 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest.
No purchase is necessary to enter this Contest. The contest is open to U.S. residents residing within the KSVI/KHMT DMA, except for employees of KSVI/KHMT, YourBigSky.com, Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., and Mission Broadcasting, Inc. (collectively, the “Station”), employees of other television and radio stations in the KSVI/KHMT DMA, employees of Second Street Media, the affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies (if any) of all of the foregoing, and members of the families or persons living in the same household of all of the foregoing. Winners will be required to provide a valid Social Security Number and current government-issued photo identification reasonably acceptable to the Station to claim their prize.
Viewers are eligible to win a Station contest only once every sixty (60) days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every (6) six months. By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to be bound by and comply with these Rules.
By participating in the Contest, all participants, including winners, agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the Contest, without any further compensation from Station. Winners agree to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Station and any sponsors the right to use the winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law).
All content submitted by participants may be used by the Station and sponsors for any purpose without further compensation or notice.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. One vote per person per day is allowed. Detection of any automated voting will lead to votes being voided. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Station or sponsors/judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the Station/Sponsors/judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest or conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties, notice will be posted at YourBigSky.com. Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or website, or violates the Official Rules of the Contest.
The Station reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise indicated, all prizes must be picked up at the Station located at 445 South 24th Street West, Billings, MT 59102 within ten days of notification or the prize becomes null and void. Winner agrees to accept all responsibility for any prize mailed to winner at winner's request.

Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, releases the Station, all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
The Station, UPICKEM, Inc., Second Street Media and any sponsors (if any) are not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, any other error or malfunction, late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries, or for printing errors in any advertisement, entry form or the rules.
Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Station. Winner is responsible for all license and registration fees. Winner will be required to provide a valid Social Security Number and a copy of a current government-issued photo identification in such form as requested by the Station, and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and W-9 tax form for any prize over $100.
This contest is void where prohibited by law. This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
Second Street Media and/or Nexstar Broadcasting reserve the right to change the rules at any time.
