Contest: FOX 4’s Idol Giveaway 2011

Prize: One grand prize winner will win one pair of tickets to the American Idol Finale, Air fare for 2, Accommodations for one night, (one room).

How to Enter:

Watch American Idol on Wednesday nights between January 26-April 27 and watch for the code word that will be displayed on the screen during American Idol. Go to YourBigSky.com, click on the Contests tab or the FOX 4’s Idol Giveaway banner and enter the code word to register. On the following Wednesday morning, listen to The Wolf Waking Crew (98.5 FM) with Scott and Shelly. At 7:35 AM, they will announce registrants from the previous week that entered the correct code word. Registrants will have 30 minutes to call The Wolf (98.5 FM). Announced registrants who call The Wolf (98.5 FM) within the allotted 30 minutes will be entered into the grand prize drawing to win the grand prize trip to the American Idol finale in Los Angeles.

Go to YourBigSky.com, click on the Contests tab or the FOX 4’s Idol Giveaway banner and enter the code word to register. On the following Thursday morning, listen to The Wolf Waking Crew (98.5 FM) with Scott and Shelly. At 7:35 AM, they will announce registrants from the previous week that entered the correct code word. Registrants will have 30 minutes to call The Wolf (98.5 FM). Announced registrants who call The Wolf (98.5 FM) within the allotted 30 minutes will be entered into the grand prize drawing to win the grand prize trip to the American Idol finale in Los Angeles.

The phone number for the Wolf (98.7 FM) is 406-238-1098. The Wolf restricts participants to the use of ordinary telephone equipment. Participants that enable the "Caller ID" block function will not be allowed to participate unless they enter their correct area code and telephone number if prompted, or disable the features inhibiting their participation in the Contest. Participants using equipment not set up for toll free phone exchanges (800, 888, 877, 866, etc.) may experience call connection problems. The Wolf (98.7 FM) disclaims all liability for the inability of a participant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond its control, or otherwise.

Weekly registration for the Wednesday drawing closes at 11:59:59PM. Weekly registration for the Thursday drawing closes at 11:59:59PM. The last day for registrations is Monday, May 2, 11:59:59PM (MT).

Participants can enter two times a week until they qualify for the grand prize drawing.

The grand prize drawing will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011. The winner will be announced on The Wolf (98.5 FM) on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 7:35 AM (MT) and posted on YourBigSky.com.

Rules for Participation:

Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest.

No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion. The promotion is open to U.S. residents residing within the KSVI/KHMT DMA, except for employees of KSVI/KHMT, YourBigSky.com, Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., Mission Broadcasting, Inc. and BMG, Billings, LLC. (collectively, the “Stations”), employees of other television and radio Stations in the KSVI/KHMT DMA, employees of Second Street Media, the affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies (if any) of all of the foregoing, and members of the families or persons living in the same household of all of the foregoing. Winners will be required to provide a valid Social Security Number and current government-issued photo identification reasonably acceptable to claim their prize.

Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every (6) six months. By participating in the promotion, each participant agrees to be bound by and comply with these Rules.

By participating in the promotion, all participants, including winners, agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the Contest, without any further compensation from the Stations or participating businesses. Winners agree to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to receipt of the prize. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Stations and any sponsors the right to use the winner’s name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law).

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Stations or sponsors/judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the Stations/Sponsors/judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest or conduct a random drawing to award the grand prize among all eligible entries received. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties, notice will be posted at YourBigSky.com. Stations reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or website, or violates the Official Rules of the Contest.

The Stations and participating businesses reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise indicated, all prizes must be picked up at the Stations located at 445 South 24th Street West, Billings, MT 59102 within the time period required. Winner agrees to accept all responsibility for any prize mailed to winner at winner’s request.

Winner will be required to provide a valid Social Security Number and a copy of a current government-issued photo identification in such form as requested by the Stations or participating businesses, and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and W-9 tax form for any prize over $100.

This promotion is void where prohibited by law. This promotion is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the promotion for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.

Second Street Media and/or the Stations, reserve the right to change the rules at any time.

In the event production of American Idol is cancelled or postponed, the American Idol ticket portion of the grand prize may be cancelled without substitution or compensation therefore. If an American Idol ticket prize is awarded, the winner’s guest to the American Idol show must be at least 6 years old. Tickets are non transferable and cannot be sold to or used by any person(s) other than the winner and the winner’s designated guest. The grand prize winner and guest will fly out of Billings, Montana on Alaskan Airlines. Hotel accommodations will be for one room and the specific hotel will be determined. Transportation to/from the airport/hotel is not provided. Transportation to/from the hotel/theater is not provided.
